We treat your photos, slides, negatives, documents, and keepsakes with the utmost care, adhering to the highest industry standards. Our scanning services include:
High-resolution scans at 600 dpi for prints and 4000 dpi for slides and negatives, using professional scanning equipment.
Basic color correction
Cleanly cropped edges and rotation to ensure the correct orientation
Scanning of photo backs when there is handwriting present
Photos are named, numbered, and organized in a digital folder structure that matches the organized, printed photos, turning the collection into an easily accessed library
Setting up digital archival solutions
Delivery of scanned high-resolution images in an external hard drive or USB drive
Ensuring your photo library is adequately backed up, following our 3-2-1 best practice for peace of mind.
We also offer additional editing services upon request, including color adjustments, keywording to make your photos searchable, disassembling, and reassembling albums and photo frames.

Complimentary First Consultation
During this free 30-minute phone conversation, you’ll tell me about your photo collection and what you want to accomplish.
Project Costs
During our first on-site meeting, we’ll assess your collection, discuss your goals, and outline the possibilities for your project. This and subsequent meetings and working sessions are billed at an hourly rate. The total cost of your project depends on several key factors:
The size and scope of your photo collection (digital or printed)
The level of organization or restoration required
How you wish to access, display, or share your photos
Our goal is to ensure your investment aligns with your vision, delivering a personalized solution that celebrates your family’s legacy.
Printed Photo Organizing
Many projects require significant organization; this service is at the heart of what makes Remember This Legacy Photos unique. Without proper organization, your scanned photos risk becoming a cluttered digital version of the boxes you started with.
Generally, most project costs are approximately 65% scanning and 35% organization. This thoughtful process elevates your collection from a set of images to a cohesive, accessible legacy.
Our organizing services are billed at an hourly rate. This investment ensures your memories are not only preserved but also beautifully curated and ready to be treasured and shared.
SCANNING & DIGITIZING
Photo and Memorabilia Scanning
Printed photos: $ 0.85/image (standard 8” x 10” or smaller loose photos)
Over-sized photos (larger than 8” x 10”): $ 1.50/image
Slides & Developed Negatives: $1.15/image
Special Handling Items: $2.00/image (Includes items more than 12” x 12” such as scrapbook pages, newspaper clippings, large portraits, and children’s artwork)
3-Dimensional Objects: $2.00/image (such as family heirlooms, medals, plaques, trophies, baby garments, or shoes)
Additional Services
Hourly charges apply for:
Specialized color adjustments for optimal quality
Keywording to make your photos searchable
Disassembling and reassembling albums or photo frames
Safely removing and returning negatives and slides to their original sleeves or envelopes
PHOTO editing & RESTORATION
These services are charged hourly, depending on the amount of work your photo needs.
DIGITAL PHOTO ORGANIZING
Our digital photo organizing services are tailored to your specific needs. Pricing is based on the number of sources (such as computers, phones, external hard drives, cloud-based storage, USBs, CDs, DVDs, and memory cards) and the number of photos to be organized.
Photo collections vary from client to client and may exceed 10,000 images. Our fees will reflect both the collection size and the different levels of service provided.
Your organized digital photo collection will be delivered on an external hard drive for an additional fee.
Custom premium photo books, cloud photo storage, slideshows, digital photo displays, and wall art will be quoted according to your requirements.
